Donna comes from Florida and studied Church Music at Chicago's Northwestern University before moving to London to study singing. She is a regular member of the Monteverdi Choir. In addition to a busy singing and teaching career, Donna, as a qualified hypnotherapist, also teaches self-hypnosis and personal development courses with her husband James. Together they continue their search for the ultimate rollercoaster!
Faye studied at Nottingham University and the Guildhall School of Music and Drama. She is a regular soloist with the New London Consort with whom she recently performed in a new production of Monteverdi's Orfeo directed by Jonathan Miller. She also sings with a number of specialist chamber ensembles including Il Vero Modo, finalists in the York International Early Music Young Artists' Competition in 2003.
Gill studied at Cardiff University. She sings Bach and Handel cantatas with the family's other early music group, Anna Magdalena, and also performs with The Academy of Ancient Music Chorus. She pursues a range of other activities, including bread-making and woodworking. Alastair studied at New College, Oxford. He works as a freelance organist and harpsichordist and is principal keyboard player with The Academy of Ancient Music. He is artistic director of Concerto delle Donne and spends considerable time discovering music and devising programmes for them. Alastair and Gill also spend a lot of energy furthering and encouraging the activities of their four musically-talented sons.
